Is Scuba Elearning Right for You?

diving gears

Scuba eLearning allows for online study and is used by many educators and professionals. Scuba eLearning offers engaging, prescriptive and informative reviews of scuba principles. It includes two equally important components. The knowledge review is done with ReActivate Online Learning, and the refresher of diving skills with PADI Professional. ReActivate card holders who have completed the ReActivate program successfully will receive a ReActivated certificate with a ReActivated Date. Divers who have already completed the ReActivate program with another training organization might be eligible for a ReActivate recognition card. ReActivate eLearning consists of 20 main sections, as well several scenarios.

PADI eLearning offers an internet-based online learning option.

PADI eLearning is the same as the traditional classroom course, except that the program is delivered over the Internet. Both course content as well as instructor procedures are the exact same. There are some differences. The eLearning program is not as detailed as the traditional classroom course, so the student must have some knowledge of computers and Internet technology to take advantage of it. Online courses are convenient for busy people, regardless of how they're delivered.

Online courses can only be enrolled using your PADI eLearning login. PADI requires that the student create an account with their email address. This account is completely free. For your eLearning materials to be delivered, you will need a valid email address. For you to receive your temporary cards or actual cards, your PADI training record must contain your correct mailing address. An older photo of you from prior PADI certification courses is also acceptable.

PADI eLearning Program relies on assessment and response scoring. Each material section is followed by Quick Quiz-Self Assessments. A short quiz is given to the student. The student must answer by choosing an answer. If the student answers incorrectly, they are shown the correct answer. They are then directed to the appropriate section. If they pass, they move onto the Knowledge Review.
