Advanced Open Water Diver Courses

You should complete an Advanced Open Water Diver Course if you want to elevate your diving skills. This course will help you perfect your buoyancy, navigation, and deep diving skills. It also offers three specialty diving options. You'll earn credit toward specialty certifications when you complete the course.

Adventure dives

Adventure dives are essential to become a fully certified scuba diver. These dives improve your awareness and buoyancy, as well as communication skills. Normally, you must complete 5 adventure dives before you can be certified. During the training, your instructor will help you refine your breathing and kicking techniques, and teach you how to plan your dives.

Adventure dives, which are the first of each specialty course's dives, count towards the specialty to be completed. This way, you'll be able to choose dives that will be useful in the future. PADI recommends divers that have multiple objectives.

Night dive

Students learn different techniques to make it safer underwater in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. They learn how to breathe properly and manage their weight and body positioning. They also learn how dive lights work and communicate with their buddy. Playing games in shallowwater will allow students to practice their skills.

Night diving offers a unique way to see new underwater worlds. It is a completely new experience, and night diving is more exciting than regular daytime diving. Even though night diving is scary, it's not difficult. You will learn the proper techniques and overcome any difficulties associated with night diving.

Underwater naturalist dive

The PADI Underwater Naturalist course aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to interact with the aquatic ecosystem. Students learn about basic organism groupings and identification, how these species live in different habitats and how to practice environmentally-friendly diving. They learn about the importance and conservation of marine biodiversity.

PADI Underwater Naturalist is for divers who have received their PADI Open Diver certificate and wish to study the marine environment more scientifically. The course also teaches students about coral reefs, marine organisms, food chains, and the relationships between these different types of organisms. It lasts for one full day and involves two open water diving.

Peak performance buoyancy diving

The most important skill to master when diving is to maintain buoyancy. You must be buoyant all the time, as falling in water can cause decompression sickness. Incorrect buoyancy control can also increase the chance of getting injured by sharp rocks and marine life. PADI Peak Performancebuoyancy Specialty helps divers maintain proper buoyancy and to avoid these issues.

PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty is a class that lasts one week and includes classroom, pool, and optional open water dives. This class teaches students how to maintain buoyancy and makes it easier for them to move around the water. The PPB program is all about making diving more enjoyable, fun, and efficient.

Maximum depth at 30m/100ft

The PADI Advanced Open Water Course will teach you how to dive to 100 feet. It is dangerous to dive deeper than 100 feet. You could experience impaired cognitive function and nitrogen narcosis. Mistakes at this depth can lead to disaster. Without proper training, you shouldn't dive further than this.

The Advanced Open Water course can usually be completed in a period of 1.5 to 2 days. The duration of the course is dependent on the instructor. You can choose to take the course on-line or at your local beach. Instructor training is required before taking the course.
