It is important to carefully review the specifications of any rebreather before you buy it. Don't just trust the testimonials you see on the internet. The rebreather is not guaranteed to be safe just because a diver has survived 400 feet in water. Instead, search for hard evidence such CE testing data.

TDI Generic CCR Diver

TDI Generic-CCR Diver training offers a great opportunity for divers interested in rebreathing in a pressure chamber. This type of equipment can help divers increase their depths and bottom times. The course is great for those who are new to diving and want to upgrade their equipment.

The CCR Diver generic training manual covers basic techniques as well as theory. This course lasts approximately five days and teaches divers how to do formal decompression dives with a CCR. Once the course is completed successfully, the diver can be certified and eligible to transfer to another CCR-rebreather.

POSEIDON S7EN recreational rebreather

POSEIDON SE7EN, a new recreational rebreather, features improved internal electronics. The new unit has a new generation in Firmware. It is more flexible, reliable, and easier to use. This new unit also features a new Configuration Tool, allowing divers to interact more with their rebreathers. This tool allows divers to modify the settings of their dive computers, view dive books, and personalize their rebreather according to their needs. The SE7EN can also be used with MAC computers, making it perfect for divers who wish to use their rebreathers from a computer.

The Poseidon SE7EN, which has three models to choose from, is one of the easiest rebreathers. The Poseidon MK6 Discovery is the world's first recreational-rebreather. The Poseidon M28 dive computer was later added to the Poseidon S7en. The latest version, the Poseidon Seven +, supports the Poseidon Solid State Sensor.

Mixed gas rebreathers

There are some things you need to know if you're interested in a career as mixed gas rebreather divers. To be certified in this type dive, you will need to meet certain requirements. You will need to have some experience with rebreathers and be able to dive to certain depths.

Secondly, you should know that there are some possible risks involved in diving with a mixed gas rebreather. One of these is failures of the gas injection systems. This problem is more common in mixed-gas rebreathers (compared to oxygen rebreathers). Fortunately, these systems can be manually overridden in the event of a malfunction.

Maintenance of rebreather

It is crucial that your rebreather works properly and has a low chance of failing. Regular service will also prolong its life, lower the risk of it missing a dive and make it more efficient. Follow the instructions included in your rebreather's manual to ensure proper care and maintenance.

Rebreathers are temperamental pieces of equipment, so you must learn how to maintain them properly. This includes performing pre and post-dive checks. Learn how to properly use your equipment.

Rebreather's disadvantages

Rebreathers have complex functions and need additional training in order for them to work safely. Manufacturers won't sell them to anyone who isn't certified. They are also notoriously hard on equipment, and they can sometimes fail. For instance, they could leak pure oxygen into their loop. This can be extremely dangerous.

In addition to the technical difficulty of operating rebreathers, they are costly to use. Rebreathers are more complicated and require more training and commitment to maintenance. Rebreathers require advanced diving skills.
