Anse Cochon North & South
Anse Cochon North & South Reef is a pair of sites for scuba divers located between the two islands. Both sites can be reached from the beach, and they range in depth between 10-40 feet. These are excellent dive spots for both beginners and advanced divers. Although the coral is more abundant on the northern side, there are many reef fish at the other end. Expect to see trumpetfishes, sea whips and eels as well as octopus.
Anse Cochon is home to the Lesleen M. This old cargo ship was used by the Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia as an artificial coral reef. The sunk vessel is now surrounded by seagrass beds, which attract many different species of fish. Barracudas and stingrays may be seen on the wreck, as it was deliberately sunk to be a dive site.
