Anse Cochon North & South Reef offer two sites for scuba divers, located between these islands. They are both accessible from the shore and can be reached at depths of approximately 10 to 40 feet. They are both great for beginners and experienced divers. While coral is found more on the northern side of this reef, reef fish are abundant at both ends. Expect to see trumpetfishes, sea whips and eels as well as octopus.
Anse Cochon's south end is home to the Lesleen M, an abandoned cargo ship. The Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia used it as an artificial reef in 1986. The sunk vessel is now surrounded by seagrass beds, which attract many different species of fish. The wreck was intentionally sunk in order to create a diving site. You might also see stingrays or barracudas.
