TDI Extended range is a special course for divers with limited access to Trimix. This course emphasizes good procedures, skill development, as well as diver response to different situations. Students will be able to safely dive in Extended Range environments and use up to two decompression chemicals. Training dives in the TDI Extended Range are done on nitrox or air.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens many doors to new dive locations. This certification can also allow divers to travel up to 60 m/200 ft. Extended Range is also available via eLearning. TDI eLearning is available online if you cannot find a dive shop in your area. This course will educate you about extended range diving.
You will be able to dive in more difficult environments and have a lower nitrogen narcosis with the Extended Range course. You'll learn how to plan and execute stage decompression dives by using up to two stage bottles and enriched air or oxygen. The Extended Range course is also available in combination with TDI Trimix Diver Certification.
TDI Trimix Training will prepare you to do advanced diving. You can dive up to 60m under normal conditions. TDI Trimix training focuses primarily on safety and skill improvement, since any problems at this level must be resolved quickly. Divers must be familiar with the procedures and feel comfortable using them.
